Air India has issued a tender for the supply and installation of an Airbus A320 full flight simulator at its training centre in Hyderabad.

The carrier is seeking to acquire a Level-D simulator complete with the Airbus standard data package for the A320-214 variant, powered by CFM International CFM56-5B4 engines.

Bidda re due by 22 April at 12.00 local time at Air India’s Hyderabad office.

Flightglobal’s Ascend Online Fleets database shows that India’s flag carrier operates 45 Airbus A320 family aircraft powered by CFM engines, while another 14 A320s are powered by International Aero Engines IAE V2500-A1 engines.
