Airbus has downplayed the discovery of what it calls "minor cracks" on several "non-critical" A380 wing skin attachments.
The manufacturer said that safe fleet operation is unaffected by the discovery and inspections and repairs are "already underway".
A "limited number" of A380s were affected, according to Airbus.
