Aircell today is introducing two more usage rates for its in-flight broadband solution as more US carriers adopt the firm's air-to-ground (ATG)-based product known as Gogo.

Short-haul flight passes will be available for operations that are an hour and a half or less. Priced at $5.95, the short-haul pass will be useable on the wi-fi equipped aircraft of AirTran Airways, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and Virgin America.

In addition to short-haul pricing, Aircell has created a 24-hour option for $12.95 that covers multiple flights on a single carrier in a single day.

Delta and AirTran plan to offer the 24-hour pass.

These pricing schemes are the latest for Aircell, which offers in-flight connectivity for $9.95 on legs less than three hours and $12.95 on flights longer than three hours.

Aircell also offers a 30-day pass for unlimited Gogo use on a single airline during a 30-day period for $49.95.

Virgin America, Delta, and AirTran are offering the 30-day pass.
