Unconfirmed reports are indicating that an aircraft has crashed on departure from South Sudan’s Juba airport.
The aircraft type is unclear although one South Sudanese media outlet has identified it as an Antonov An-12 transport.
It reports that the aircraft had around a dozen occupants. The An-12 is typically used for freight operations but details of the flight have yet to be confirmed.
No operator or aircraft identifier has been given.
