Piaggio Aero agent for France, Boutsen Aviation, founded by Belgian ex-Formula 1 Grand Prix winner Thierry Boutsen, has announced the sale of a new Piaggio P180 Avanti II to a private French customer. The aircraft, which will be delivered in January 2008, will feature the Rockwell-Collins Pro Line 21 avionics suite. The order comes just a few months after the same customer took delivery of its first aircraft, a pre-owned P180 Avanti.

Bombardier turned a $110 million profit in the first quarter of 2022 despite a dip in aircraft deliveries, and has rolled out a new logo it says reflects the company’s shift to become a manufacturer of business jets only.
