BAE Systems Regional Aircraft is extending its 'PartsPlus' spares supply programme - which was initially aimed only at new BAE 146/Avro regional jet operators - to the entire fleet.

South Africa's Airlink and Chile-based Aerovias DAP have thus far signed up to the scheme.

Customers will have access to a range of spares at fixed prices until the end of 2013, provided they commit to buying the material from the UK aftermarket services company.

The number of eligible parts has been increased from 1,300 to around 2,500. BAE Systems says this will rise to 4,000 by the end of 2013, with the scope broadening thereafter.
