SERVICE EXPANSION
Bombardier has added four field service representatives and two customer support account managers to its burgeoning global support network. The new employees will cover France, eastern Europe and South Africa, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Meanwhile, Bombardier's wholly owned service centre at Amsterdam Schiphol International airport will begin offering cabin refurbishment across its range of business jets later this year. The facility is also planning to offer Challenger 850 maintenance for the first time.
XOJET PROGRAMME
US operator XOJet has launched a new "value" charter programme designed, it says, to "deliver the optimal mix of service and availability at the best possible price". The "Preferred Access" scheme gives XOJet members "a menu of specific money-saving options for each flight [on a Bombardier Challenger 300 and Cessna Citation X business jet] allowing them to avoid paying for unnecessary guarantees or other flight attributes that they don't need or value".
MOSCOW GROWTH
Business aviation services provider Jet Aviation has signed an agreement with Vnukovo Invest, co-owner of Moscow's Vnukovo International airport, which allows the fixed-base operator to further expand at the Russian site. Development plans include the occupation of a new hangar, office space and storage at the capital's dedicated business aviation airport. Meanwhile, Jet Aviation's Paris Le Bourget facility has received EASA 145 approval to provide line maintenance services to large-cabin Gulfstream business jets including the GIV, G400, G450, GV, G500 and G550 models.
CHARTER PARTNERS
Air Partner and CitationAir have extended their block charter joint venture to include Europe and the Middle East. Customers who purchase 50h of flying time within North America and 10h within Europe or the Middle East can access aircraft through the Air Partner Private Jets programme.
