Taiwan’s China Airlines will begin a thrice weekly Taipei Taoyuan-Xuzhou service on 14 July.

This comes after it launched twice weekly Taipei Taoyuan-Hefei and thrice weekly Taipei Taoyuan-Changchun services on 2 July, and twice weekly Taipei Taoyuan-Yantai services the following day.

At the same time, the airline raised frequencies on routes from Taipei Taoyuan to Wenzhou, Nanchang and Lijiang, Kaohsiung to Nanchang and Lijiang, and from Taipei Songshan to Wenzhou. With the increases, Wenzhou and Nanchang now see five times weekly services, while Lijiang is served daily.

China Airlines is deploying Airbus A330-300 on the Taipei Taoyuan-Hefei route, and Boeing 737-800s on routes from Taipei Taoyuan to Changchun, Xuzhou and Yantai, the airline adds.

FlightMaps Analytics shows that China Airlines is competing with China Eastern Airlines on the Taipei Taoyuan to Hefei and Xuzhou routes, China Southern Airlines on the Taipei Taoyuan-Changchun route, and with Shandong Airlines on the Taipei Taoyuan-Yantai route.
