A Bombardier CRJ705 twinjet, resplendent in Air Canada Jazz livery, is on static display making its debut at the show. The aircraft is the second of the carrier's order for 15 of the type. The first CR705 entered revenue service with Air Canada Jazz at the beginning of June.

The CRJ705 is the newest variant of the CRJ family. It is based on the CRJ900 fuselage, but because Air Canada Jazz is configuring the aircraft to seat 75 passengers in a two-class layout, Bombardier is marketing it as a member of the CRJ700 family. The standard CRJ700 seats 64-70 passengers. A CRJ700 destined for Skywest Airlines, in United Express colours, is also here at the show.

At present Air Canada Jazz is the only customer for the CRJ705, while the CRJ900 has 45 orders, with 34 delivered by the end of April.
