Croatian wet-lease and charter specialist Trade Air has sealed a component repair and overhaul pact with Sabena Technics, covering Fokker 100 aircraft.

The work for the Zagreb-based operator will be managed from Sabena Technics' French facility at Dinard. Trade Air will also have access to a component pool at Paris Charles de Gaulle.

Trade Air, which disclosed the agreement during the MRO Europe event in London, says the deal is the first of its kind reached by the carrier. "We are confident Sabena Technics is a reliable partner for us," says Trade Air managing director Marko Cvijin.

Both sides had previously co-operated on component exchange and repair, on a non-exclusive basis.
