A commercial flight operated by Dana Air has reportedly crashed in the Nigerian city of Lagos.
Lagos state police have confirmed the aircraft came down in the Iju neighbourhood, north of the city's Murtala Muhammed Airport.
Images of the crash site suggest the aircraft crashed in a built up area with the aircraft bursting into flames upon impact.
According to Flightglobal Pro's database Dana Air operates a fleet of five Boeing MD-80 aircraft.
The weather at the time of the crash was overcast.
