Two airlines, South African Express Airways (SAX) and Jeju Air, have recently introduced their first Bombardier Dash 8 Q400s. SAX is deploying its two Q400s on domestic flights from Johannesburg to Bloemfontein and George as it looks to boost frequencies.

The airline already operates seven Q300s and six Bombardier CRJs. Meanwhile, South Korea’s Jeju Air, which is based on the island of Jeju, has received the first of five 74-seat Q400s it ordered last year along with options for three more.
