Denmark's army is planning to buy tactical unmanned air systems (UAS) for different missions, with a delegation of military officials having visited Israel recently as part of a market assessment.

They met the Israeli air force and some local manufacturers during the trip.

In 2006 the Danish defence ministry sold its remaining Sagem Sperwer tactical UAS to Canada, having suspended use of the type in February 2005 after a series of malfunctions. The UAS had been acquired by Denmark in 2002.
