UK regional carrier Eastern Airways is extending MRO cooperation with BAE Systems' aftermarket arm for component support for its British Aerospace Jetstream 41 turboprop fleet.

The Humberside-based airline inked a three-year, flight hour-based maintenance contract for rotable component repairs, inventory and logistics services, says BAE Systems.

Eastern Airways has 17 Jetstream 41s, according to Flightglobal's Ascend Online database. One of the 29-seater aircraft is in storage.

The carrier has contracted BAE Systems for MRO work over the past 11 years.
