Aftermarket service provider Ruag Business Aviation (stand 236) is taking pre-orders and seeking a launch customer for the Rockwell Collins (stand 1143) Pro Line 21 Integrated Display System on the Piaggio P180 Avanti twin-engined turboprop.
The upgrade is expected to be available in the fourth quarter of 2010 at Ruag's facility in Lugano, Switzerland.
The upgrade, which the companies say will improve reliability and lower operating costs, includes Pro Line 21 video capable adaptive flight displays, dual attitude heading reference systems, dual reduced vertical separation minimum, compliant air data computers and an electronic engine indication system.
The new equipment and installation is covered by a two-year Ruag Aviation, Rockwell Collins warranty.
