EgyptAir will launch a regional jet division in April operating up to 12 newly ordered Embraer 170s. “EgyptAir Express” will initially operate six E-170s, for which the airline has placed a firm order. A further six 76-seat one-class configured aircraft are also held on option. The new division will provide feed from primary and secondary international and domestic points, says the Egyptian flag carrier.
