Emirates has confirmed that Lufthansa's former chief marketing officer, Thierry Antinori, will become its new sales chief next month.
The Dubai-based airline stated that it has appointed Antinori as executive vice-president passenger sales worldwide, effective 1 October.
He will succeed Richard Vaughan, who is retiring.
Antinori left Lufthansa Group in late March just days before he was due to become chief executive of Austrian Airlines on 1 April.
