Kuwaiti lessor ALAFCO has detailed two batches of Boeing 737-800 leases, three aircraft apiece, to Ethiopian Airlines and China's Okay Airways.

It has also confirmed the lease of a Boeing 777-200 to Russian carrier Transaero, in a statement to the Kuwaiti stock exchange.

ALAFCO says that Ethiopian Airlines is to lease three 737-800s for a period of 96 months, one from October and the other two from November.

Okay Airways is to lease two 737-800s in December and a third in July 2011.

ALAFCO adds that the 777, an ex-Air India airframe returned from lease in March, is being transferred to Transaero this month.
