Evergreen Aviation Technologies has rolled out the first of three modified Boeing 747-400 Large Cargo Freighter (LCF) aircraft that will be used to transport Boeing 787 subassemblies from suppliers in Japan, Italy and the USA to the final assembly line in Everett, Washington. Evergreen Aviation Technologies, a joint venture between EVA Air and General Electric, has been contracted to carry out the conversion work for Boeing. The official roll-out of the LCF is planned for the end of August.
