Executive Airlines (booth 732) is growing. The Spanish charter company is at EBACE having bought three new aircraft in recent months - a Cessna Citation XLS and a Gulfstream G100 and G200. This brings its fleet to 11 executive jets, which it claims allows it to provide greater national coverage from bases in Barcelona, Gerona, Madrid, Palma de Majorca and Valencia.
Executive Airlines has also opened a fixed-base operation at Torrejón de Ardoz airport in Madrid, where facilities include offices and two VIP lounges (complete with bathrooms), allowing clients to relax before departure, or even hold important business meetings. The company is demonstrating its commitment to improving quality of service and is looking into opening VIP lounges at the other bases.
The Spanish operator has also had its Dassault Falcon 900EX and Cessna Citation Bravo modified and approved to operate out of London City airport.  Its Bombardier Learjet 45 is undergoing modification for similar approval.
