LOCKHEED MARTIN Tactical Airlines Systems has mated the first two mid-fuselage modules for the first Lockheed Martin/ Boeing F-22. The third module will be added in April and the completed mid-fuselage section, housing most of the aircraft's systems as well as fuel tanks and weapons bays, will be trucked to Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems in August for final assembly, leading to a first flight in the middle of 1997.
