Aircraft lessor CIT Aerospace placed an order for five more A330s at the Farnborough air show today, including the first commitment for the newly launched longer-range A330.
The order takes to 10 the number of commitments for the A330 the lessor has placed this year. Five were ordered earlier this year in conjunction with the cancellation of orders for four A320s and the exercise of an aircraft purchase option.
Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2014.
