US landing gear and actuator manufacturer Circor Aerospace has inked an international distribution deal with California-based military parts stockist Aero Precision.

The agreement covers sales for a range of equipment outside the USA, but will focus in particular on landing gears for the Boeing CH-47 Chinook tandem heavy-lift helicopter and Northrop F-5 fighter jet as well as nose wheel steering actuators for the Lockheed Martin F-16.

The contract was signed by Michael Dill, Circor's group vice-president, and Frank Cowle, Aero Precision's president. It is the manufacturer's first deal with the distributor, which exclusively stocks material from original equipment manufacturers such as Honeywell, Hamilton Sundstrand and Crane Aerospace.

Both companies declined to specify any markets of particular interest, but say that the agreement covers a "global territory tailored upon product lines and current distribution channels".

Circor says it wants to benefit from Aero Precision's international contacts and global market reach.
