Airbus has disclosed an order for six A330neo twinjets, attributing them to an unidentified customer.

The airframer has given few details about the agreement, revealed during the Farnborough air show.

It says the deal is the subject of a memorandum of understanding for “A330neo family” aircraft – it has not clarified whether it comprises A330-900 or -800 jets.

Airbus has no orders in its backlog for the smaller -800 variant. In its disclosure, however, the airframer gives the list price of the A330neo as $259.9 million, which is the figure attributed to the -800.

The list price for the larger -900 is $296.4 million.

No delivery date has been given. All A330neos are powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines.
