US fractional ownership operator Flight Options has taken delivery of its first Embraer Phenom 300.

The Cleveland, Ohio-based company - the world's third-largest fractional ownership provider - has a firm order for 100 of the light jets and options on 50 more. It plans to take delivery of the types at a rate of 10 a year over the next decade.

The first three fractional Phenoms have already been pre-sold, according to Flight Options, which will kick start this month a US demonstration of the seven-seat twinjet stopping at 40 cities, including Chicago, Dallas, Las Vegas and New York.

Meanwhile, fellow US fractional provider Avantair has unveiled two new incentive programmes for customers of its Piaggio P180 Avanti II twin turboprop-based scheme. The Loyalty programme rewards fractional owners for programme renewals, while the Ambassador programme compensates existing owners for customer referrals, says the Clearwater Florida-based operator.
