UAE low-cost carrier Flydubai firmed an order for 75 Boeing 737 Max 8 and 11 737-800 in a deal worth $8.8 billion at list prices.

The deal includes purchase rights allowing Flydubai to order 25 more 737 Max aircraft.

Flydubai announced a commitment to buy the aircraft at the Dubai air show in November.

The move increases the backlog for the 737 Max to more than 1,700 firm orders.

Boeing’s schedule calls for launching flight tests of the 737 Max in 2016 and delivering the first 737 Max 8 to launch customer Southwest Airlines in the third quarter of 2017.
