France is inviting airlines to apply for subsidies to operate routes connecting two regional cities with Paris.

The public service obligation (PSO) routes will link Aurillac and Castres with Paris Orly. They will come into effect on 1 June 2015 and run until 31 May 2019.

Airlines have until 5 December to make an application to operate the Castres-Paris route and a deadline of 15 January for submitting a formal tender. Tenders to operate between Aurillac and the French capital likewise need to be submitted by 15 January.

Both routes are currently operated by regional carrier Hop.
