Greenwich Kahala MDT, the joint venture between MDT and First Greenwich Kahala has placed a Bombardier CRJ-200LR aircraft on lease to Belavia Belarusian Airlines.

The 2000-vintage aircraft, MSN 7436, is powered with CF34-3B1 engines and was previously opeated by Cimber Sterling.

The lease to Belavia is for a five-year period to October 2015.

Greenwich Kahala MDThas now successfully remarketed nine of the 10 aircraft it acquired in 2007 and 2008. One aircraft MSN 7617, is due for re-delivery from Cimber Sterling in May 2011 and is available for lease or sale. The aircraft has recently had both engines overhauled and on delivery in May 2011 the landing gear will be freshly overhauled and will be fresh from a C check with Cimber before re-delivery.
