Privately owned Beechcraft piston aircraft lined up at Hawker Beechcraft's Europe, Middle East and Africa headquarters at Hawarden airport in Broughton on Friday 7 September.

The fly-in event - the first of its kind hosted in the UK by HBC - marked the airframer's 80th anniversary and brought together aircraft owners from across Europe, allowing them to meet and share experiences and discuss the market.

HBC has highlighted the northwest as one of the most important areas in Britain for business aviation.

Its servicing facility near Chester, which can carry out maintenance and upgrades to HBC aircraft, is the manufacturer's biggest facility outside the USA.

"Two-thirds of all manufactured [HBC] aircraft are still in operation today, underlining why it is such a popular choice amongst corporate and private owners alike," says the airframer.
