Emergency services in Pakistan are attending the scene of an accident reportedly involving an Ilyushin Il-76 freighter which came down in Karachi.
Neither the type nor the operator have been confirmed but local media are citing the Pakistani civil aviation authority as stating that the cargo jet crashed in a residential area at 01:47.
Ten fatalities are being reported including eight said to have been on board the freighter.
