Middle Eastern carrier Iraqi Airways is intending to open a new connection with Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
The Iraqi ministry of transportation states that the route will generate tourism and trade between the two countries.
It says that Iraqi Airways will start operating the route in mid-September. The service will be weekly.
