Losses at Kuwait Airways (KAC)reached $100 million in the last financial year to June 1996, as the airline continues to repair the damage to fleet and infrastructure caused by the Iraqi invasion of 1990-1. KAC chairman Ahmed al Mishari says that the true costs of the invasion "-are not yet clear" and are still being uncovered. Losses were $92 million in 1994-5.
