Honda Aircraft has announced receiving “multiple orders” on the first day of the HondaJet’s debut appearance at the Latin American Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (LABACE).

The North Carolina-based manufacturer of the entry-level jet also reported interest from “many more individuals”.

As one of the few all-new aircraft to make a debut appearance at LABACE this year, the single HondaJet on display attracted a steady flow of visitors.

The aircraft itself arrived in Sao Paulo as part of a global sales tour that began in April, having completed first flight last March.

The order announcement comes three weeks after Honda partnered with Lider Aviacao to be the HondaJet’s exclusive dealer in Brazil.
