Airbus and Lufthansa Technik have signed a contract for the completion of a three ACJ318s to be carried out at BizJet International, the German company's base in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

In 2009, BizJet International took over the responsibility for the ACJ 318 completion program, allowing Lufthansa Technik's site in Hamburg to focus on the highly customized outfitting of narrow- and wide-body VIP aircraft.

While the Airbus ACJ318 program is standardized to a certain degree, a rich choice of materials, the selection of an individual design and various floor-plan options allow the creation of a highly customized cabin interior. To accelerate completion times, Lufthansa Technik selected new ways to create the interior, using decorative film coatings (DFCs) as a highly realistic representation of polished wood, offering a large variety of design possibilities combined with a high durability - an immense advantage for charter operators.
