Philippine Airlines (PAL) has selected SR Technics to provide repair cycle management (RCM) and engine maintenance services.
The RCM agreement will see SR Technics provide services such as component maintenance, management, logistics and engineering support for PAL's entire Airbus fleet, comprising 33 widebody and narrowbody aircraft, and covering a total of 2,000 parts.
The engine maintenance contract covers 21 CFM International CFM56-5C engines for the entire Airbus A340-330 fleet, SR Technics said.
The work for both five-year contracts will be carried out at SR Technics' facility in Zurich as well as with Asian partners, added the MRO firm.
SR Technics has provided MRO support for PAL since December 2010, on a single event basis.
