Middle Eastern carrier Saudi Arabian Airlines is ordering another four Airbus A330-300s, following an order for eight placed three years ago.

The carrier had placed options for four additional A330s when it made the original deal.

It has already selected Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines for the previous eight, and the engine pact also covered another four A330s.

"The A330 is an important pillar upon which we are building our ambitious expansion plans by simultaneously meeting rising passenger demand and expectations," said Saudi Arabian Airlines director general Khalid Al Molhem.
