Turkish budget carrier Pegasus Airlines has completed sale and leaseback transactions on two new Boeing 737-800s with GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS).

The operating lessor, which confirms the deal, says one aircraft (MSN 40014) was delivered new in January. The second aircraft (40881) was closed in June.

According to Flighglobal's Ascend Online database, GECAS has nine 737-800s on lease to Pegasus Airlines.
