The Peruvian army has purchased a MicroFalcon UAV system from manufacturer Innocon of Israel.

The contract includes Innocon's Naviator flight computer that manages all flight parameters including take-off and landing. A ground station will also be supplied.

MicroFalcon is Innocon's lightest UAV, weighing just 6kg (13lb) and backpackable by a single soldier. It is designed for "over-the-hill" observation, with a 2h endurance. It lands by parachute.

The Peruvian army will equip its example with the Controp stabilised mini payload, which incorporates cameras for either daylight or night operations.
