Piaggio has received Brazilian production and type certification for its P180 Avanti II, paving the way for the twin-engined turboprop to be registered and operated throughout Brazil. The Italian airframer has appointed NOAR Aviação to promote, distribute and service the Avanti through the country, which Flightglobal's ACAS database lists as having the highest installed base of turboprops outside North America.
