Qatar Executive, the on-demand charter division of Qatar Airways, has begun operating its two Challenger 605 business jets recently delivered from Bombardier's Montreal plant.

Unveiled by Qatar Airways' chief executive Akbar Al Baker at the Paris air show in June, Qatar Executive is headed by former ProFlite president Ted Button.

It flies two new 11-seat Challenger 605s alongside an eight-seat Challenger 300 that was already in the airline's fleet. Flights operate from Qatar Airways' premium terminal at Doha.
