UK online business aircraft booking service PrivateFly.com has expanded into France, Germany and central Europe, where it says it has begun offering dedicated local web platforms and multilingual operations.

The expansion follows a record-breaking sales month in May 2012 for the St Albans-based company, which also re-launched its UK website in April, with a dedicated iPad app to sit alongside its existing mobile applications.

"Translated and localised versions of the platforms are being supported by sales and marketing activities to develop tailored customer communications across each new market," says PrivateFly,

Company founder and chief executive Adam Twidell says the focus is initially on the established French and German markets, "We are also focused on central European countries which are experiencing greater growth in demand - such as Poland, which saw 13% annual growth in business aviation traffic in 2011. We will extend our reach to other countries later in the year."
