Russia's airworthiness authorities have approved certification of both Bombardier and Embraer regional jets between 70 and 120 seats.
The approvals cover the CRJ700/900/1000, as well as the Embraer 170/175/190/195.
Both the Bombardier and Embraer models compete for sales in Russia against the Sukhoi Superjet SSJ100.
