Ryanair received approval for US Export Import Bank (Ex-Im) support covering unidentified Boeing aircraft, according to the bank's 6 October meeting minutes.

The 12-year financing includes aircraft to be operated with CFM engines. Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank (CA-CIB) is the guaranteed lender.

Separately, Ryanair is in the market with a request for proposal for Japanese operating leases covering six Boeing 737-800s, according to a banker.

At 31 March, Ryanair had an operating fleet of 232 Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
