Singapore Airlines (SIA) has signed a new Flight Hour Services (FHS) support contract with Airbus for its 15 additional A330 aircraft ordered in September.

The contract covers full component support as well as line and base airframe maintenance, Airbus said.

Airbus already has FHS agreements with the carrier. It signed one in 2009 for 19 A330s and another in 2010 for five A340-500s.

The Airbus FHS incorporates a portfolio of guaranteed services ranging from material supply and inventory provisioning, to repair services, information systems, reliability optimisation, aircraft maintenance and fleet technical management.
