Data Link Solutions (DLS), a joint venture between Rockwell Collins and BAE Systems, has been awarded a $5.5 million contract to provide Multifunctional Information Distribution System - Low Volume Terminals (MIDS-LVTs) for the Republic of Korea Air Force.

Deliveries began in late 2011 and will continue through 2014. The terminals will be installed on F-16 fighters and the work will be performed at Wayne in New Jersey and Cedar Rapids in Iowa.

"This contract enables a critical military requirement for the F-16s to meet their datalink network requirements," said DLS director Mike Beltrani.
