Canadian leisure carrier Sunwing has extended a component repair and overhaul contract with Air France Industries KLM Engineering and Maintenance for four new Boeing 737-800s.

The agreement will include parts pooling and a parts kit based in Toronto.

The carrier last renewed its contract with the AFI KLM E&M in 2011.

"We decided to renew our current contract, basing ourselves on the level of service, quality and flexibility of AFI KLM E&M,” says Marek Grzesiowski, Sunwing Airlines’ vice-president for maintenance and engineering.
