Taiwan's Eva Air has confirmed an order for seven Boeing 777-300ERs.

It will buy three aircraft directly from Boeing and get the remaining four from lessors, says an airline official.

Deliveries will begin from 2014, and the airline expects to receive all of the aircraft by 2016, she adds.

Flightglobal's ACAS database shows that Eva Air has 15 777-300ERs in service.
