Thai Smile, the new regional subsidiary of Thai Airways, will begin operations on 7 July with twice daily Bangkok-Macau services.

From 16 August, it will also offer daily Bangkok-Phuket and Chiang Mai-Phuket services, twice daily Bangkok-Chiang Mai and Bangkok-Surat Thani services, and four-times daily Bangkok-Krabi services, says a Thai Airways spokeswoman.

Thai Smile will begin operations with four Airbus A320s. This will eventually grow to 11 A320s.
