Thomson Airways has signed a heavy maintenance contract with Abu Dhabi Aircraft Technologies (ADAT) for the carrier's Boeing 757 and 767 aircraft.

Under the contract, ADAT will provide 10 heavy maintenance checks including three 757 checks and seven 767 checks for the 2011/12 winter maintenance period.

In addition, the maintenance firm will provide a number of end of lease checks and pylon modifications, said the partners.
