Tiger Airways Australia has begun services from Sydney, its second base.
Three Airbus A320 aircraft will progressively be based in Sydney and operate up to 10 daily return flights, says Tiger Airways Australia.
Tiger will operate Sydney-Brisbane and Sydney-Gold Coast services four times daily and increase the Sydney-Melbourne service to 11 times daily, up from nine times daily.
With the new base, it will operate up to 38 flights daily, compared with the current 18.
